About the Role
Join the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health team in Florida, providing patient-first healthcare. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
- Interpret plans and supervise patient treatments, ensuring patient care, safety, and wellbeing.
- Review and evaluate patient response to treatment.
- Make recommendations to physicians regarding the continuation or discontinuation of physical therapy.
- Provide appropriate documentation for each patient visit.
- Maintain and care for all equipment and apparatus.
- Ensure economical use of supplies, linens, and utilities.
- Provide appropriate billing for each patient visit.
- Assist in the on-the-job training of ancillary personnel.
- Float between Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition Hospitals as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or certificate
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or related international degree
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Internship experience
- Experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Must comply with the influenza prevention program, including annual vaccination or approved exemption.
- Must pass a drug screening.
