About the Role
The Senior QC Technician will lead a Consumables Manufacturing team in the swing shift to meet company goals related to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and daily production targets for cartridges.
Responsibilities
- Align with production supervisor/manager on priorities and communicate daily QC work schedule to the QC team
- Allocate daily work assignments to the team to support production schedule and achieve targets
- Perform QC assay runs on consumables cartridges
- Process assay results and perform basic statistical analysis
- Ensure cartridge QC documentation is complete and accurate and generate cartridge Certificate of Analysis
- Develop a working knowledge of all QC processes; leverage knowledge to troubleshoot issues; identify non-conformance and implement corrective actions
- Champion continuous improvement activities
- Ensure adherence to SOP and Work Instructions, and overall compliance to ISO 9001 standards
- Promote cross-training to mitigate single-point failures, and production surges
- Coordinate and ensure sufficient materials for QC operation
- Promote safety and proper operation of all equipment
- Display technical skills and leadership skills; function as a role model, maintain morale and ensure effective communication with team
- Support inventory management tasks (physical and ERP/business systems) as directed
- Lead and support company EPIC values, and lead by example.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience working in a life science quality control environment, and familiar with QC workflow
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical wet lab skills
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and quality
- Able to work and lead QC team independently with minimal guidance
- Working knowledge of ISO and/or regulatory compliance requirements
- Working competency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other analytical software tools
- Good written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement, or a willingness to learn

Salary/Compensations
- $22.40 - $30.80
- This position is eligible to receive a target annual cash bonus based on individual and company performance, in accordance with company policy.
