About the Role
As a Front Office Agent / Receptionist, you will bring a high level of commitment, a focus on excellent service, and a passion for creating positive guest experiences to our dynamic Front Office team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, guest inquiries, phone calls, and processing payments. You will also advise on local attractions, restaurants, and events, ensuring all aspects of the guest journey are executed at the highest level.
Responsibilities
- Manage the lively lobby operations and serve as the primary point of contact for guests.
- Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Manage reservations and address guest inquiries.
- Handle phone calls and process payments.
- Ensure all aspects of the guest journey and experience are executed at the highest level.
- Provide recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, and events.
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and a welcoming demeanor to make guests feel comfortable.
- Proactively ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the Front Office department.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with other departments.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not strictly required.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- An eye for detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- A 'doer' with a genuine hands-on mentality.
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to find creative solutions and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Reliability and enjoyment of working in a demanding environment.
