About the Role
As a Project Manager for Structural Engineering, you will lead and plan modern structural engineering projects with a focus on bridge construction. You will manage a structural design team while also contributing technically to projects.
Responsibilities
- Independent leadership and qualified planning of modern structural engineering projects with a focus on bridge construction.
- Independent leadership of a structural design team while simultaneously contributing technically to the project.
- Planning in HOAI service phases 1-7.
- Project management.
- Contract and additional claim management.
- Independent communication with clients as well as internal and external project participants.
Requirements
- Successfully completed 5-year degree in Civil Engineering with a Master's, Diploma, or comparable degree.
- Several years of professional experience in the planning of bridge structures and/or several years of professional experience in a comparable position in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of relevant IT software (e.g., Sofistik, Revit, InfoCAD, iTWO, MS Project, AutoCAD, Allplan, etc.).
- BIM experience desirable, but not essential.
- Confident, competent, and reliable demeanor towards clients and third parties.
- Economic understanding, inventiveness, and creativity.
- Very good knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and guidelines.
- Fluent German language skills (minimum level C1).
