About the Role

Performs complex analytical support functions to aid deal teams in the award of corporate bond underwriting mandates. Responsible for risk management and ensuring a positive customer experience through adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Research and assess financial information.
• Perform financial analysis, with a focus on credit and corporate finance.
• Analyze public company financials and Edgar data.
• Understand bond mechanics for Investment Grade and High Yield.
• Understand public debt markets and develop market expertise.
• Analyze broad economic and market trends.
• Maintain databases.
• Prepare pitch materials and market updates for client meetings.
• Participate in due diligence calls for debt offerings.
• Work extended hours during peak periods.
• Collaborate with team members on presentations and projects.
• Build internal and external professional networks.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
• Graduating Class of 2027.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, and/or Capital Markets is a plus.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, 63 license preferred or to be obtained immediately after start date.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, IFR Markets, Advantage Data and S&P Leveraged Commentary is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team interaction capabilities.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong interest in debt capital markets.
• Relevant internships and co-op program experience.
