About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you will support go-to-market efforts within the civil engineering space. This is a hands-on, client-facing role designed for students pursuing a business degree. Responsibilities include outbound outreach, account research, and early-stage conversations with engineering firms.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify firms that align with Ecopia’s data offerings
- Support outbound outreach efforts through email, calls, and LinkedIn
- Help initiate conversations with engineering firms and qualify early interest
- Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking
- Sit in on sales and discovery calls to understand customer needs and use cases
- Help refine messaging tailored to civil engineering applications
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with outreach, follow ups, rejection, and relationship building
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working toward clear goals and KPIs
Education Level
- Pursuing a degree in business
