About the Role
Grind is seeking an enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join their team, focusing on crafting classic drinks with contemporary twists and creating a buzzing atmosphere. The role involves supporting a team in a high-volume hospitality environment, driving sales, and delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Support the management team in the running of a high volume & fast-paced bar
- Possess full understanding of Grind Steps of Service
- Deliver exemplary service in line with our procedures
- Help to deliver bar training & developing programs to all bar staff
- Motivate all staff and project a positive attitude at all times
- Undertake regular team meetings and participate in necessary Management meetings
- Abide by the house rules at all times
- Displays a smart and professional appearance, representing the company in a positive manner
Requirements
- Demonstrate confidence in supporting a small team in a very busy and high-volume hospitality environment
- Drive sales through supporting the team, and delivering speedy service with passion on the bar
- Previous experience working in a bar environment
- A 'work with the team' approach/attitude at all times
- Possess excellent communication skills to enable effective dialogue with colleagues and customers
- Ability to work well under pressure and use initiative
- Ability to problem solve and escalate complaints accordingly
- Dedicated team-player, who strives for excellence and leads by example
- Strong time-management and prioritisation skills

Salary/Compensations
- Tronc payments are variable and not guaranteed, this number is likely to fluctuate depending on site performance and individual eligibility.
