About the Role
Own the end-to-end execution of a high-volume events program to increase Base44's presence among students, builders, and communities across the United States. Leverage expertise in event coordination and field operations to deliver measurable results and build Base44's presence at hackathons, on local campuses, at conferences, in faculty circles, and in partnership with educational nonprofits. Plan and execute world-class experiences both in-person and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Book and manage weekly events per quarter across universities, VC accelerators, NGOs, and community spaces in the US.
- Manage all logistical details, including agenda setting, and merch and content creation.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline coordination and maximize event efficiency.
- Be present at events to ensure smooth execution and troubleshoot in real time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, community, and enterprise teams to align on event goals and ensure strong partner handoffs.
- Build and maintain relationships with university partners, event hosts, and community organizers.
- Track event performance and provide detailed reports on results and impact.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in events, field marketing, or a related role.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of activities, building from 0 to 1.
- Proficiency with AI tools in your day-to-day workflow.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment.
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for in-person and on-the-road engagement.
- Willing and able to travel 25% of the time, including occasional weekends.
- Candidates must be based in the NYC area and able to visit the NYC office 3x per week.
