About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend focus) in a product team, you will contribute to solving real user problems and shaping the product experience in a highly collaborative, customer-oriented environment. This role is an 80/20 full-stack position, primarily working with TypeScript and Node.js on the Backend, requiring strong experience across both frontend and backend development. A key part of the role involves owning our Server-Driven UI backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer, designing and implementing backend components that deliver dynamic UI configurations tailored to specific frontend needs. You will also focus on designing, launching, and iterating on A/B experiments, mentoring team members, and participating in the hiring process. Additionally, you will set team-wide standards for responsible AI adoption and leverage AI tooling to accelerate development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend focus) in a product team.
- Contribute to solving real user problems and shaping the product experience.
- Own the Server-Driven UI backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer, designing and implementing backend components.
- Design, launch, and iterate on A/B experiments.
- Continuously improve codebase, systems, and processes.
- Design and develop efficient, scalable solutions.
- Mentor other team members and participate in the hiring process.
- Set team-wide standards and vision for responsible AI adoption.
- Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development workflows and productivity.
- Drive measurable improvements in product development speed and quality by integrating AI into daily engineering practice.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks
- High proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications & services
- Experience with writing tests
- Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable, and maintainable code
- Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft
- Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making
- Mature judgment in choosing when and how to use AI tools
- Proactively lead the team in adopting and evaluating new AI technologies
- Support others in applying AI effectively while maintaining strong standards for quality, security, and governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
