About the Role

Momentum Solar is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician to join our Service Department. This role requires a tech-savvy individual with knowledge of basic wiring and schematics for diagnosing and maintaining solar systems. The ideal candidate will be dependable, maintain high business ethics, professionalism, and excel in communication with the team, customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Assists in work needed on roofs.
• Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Repairs and maintains motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Solar experience required.
• Must be able to assess and fix issues for Enphase systems.
• Must be able to troubleshoot String Systems, SolarEdge, SunPower, and Tesla systems.
• Need to be able to lift panels and set up ladders alone.
• Need to be familiar with enlighten app.
• Able to use IOS and Android operating systems to submit documents and trouble shoot solar systems.
• Some Electric Experience Required.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to work on roofs and in attics.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean driving record Required.
• Able to work alone or with a small team to complete tasks.
• Willing to work weekends.
