About the Role
Consult with insurance companies on the conceptual organization and optimization of IT-supported business processes. Advise clients on the alignment, design, and application of business automation solutions, keeping their strategic perspective at the business process level in mind. Analyze and optimize business processes, ensuring their technically correct automation. Model processes using industry standards like BPMN 2.0, operationalize models, and support their automation. Develop microservices and integration structures based on Java or Python, enabling the use of AI models, agents, RPA processes, and web services. Advise and support project implementation in customer-facing roles, such as Product Owner, and assist with project planning in the context of digital strategy realization. Conduct workshops and feasibility studies, and be responsible for the conception and implementation of Proof-of-Concepts, pilot projects, and ramp-ups of automation solutions.

Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science or business informatics, or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience in process management, process analysis, or business automation.
- Solid skills in requirements engineering and process modeling.
- Analytical and conceptual working style.
- Ability to conduct workshops independently from preparation to follow-up.
- Experience in process modeling with BPMN 2.0.
- Initial practical experience with Camunda, Flowable, or comparable workflow engines.
- Initial experience with microservice structures in Java or Python.
- Initial experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable DevOps and container technologies.
- Willingness to travel for projects.
