About the Role
Support the implementation of the UK/Nordics Supply strategic plan and ongoing management and consolidation of the UK/Nordics Supply finance results. Provide comprehensive strategic and commercial finance support to the Supply and wider Finance team to ensure delivery of agreed plans and targets. Support the implementation of Supply initiatives including NPD, Cost saving Initiatives and Product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the completion of the month end close process, and ongoing reconciliation of account balances covering P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflows
- Work with Transactional Business Services (TBS) to ensure a high standard of control and financial rigour across systems, reporting and reconciliations, contributing to a successful external audit
- Promote governance and establish appropriate internal controls that underpin key outputs around reporting, planning, costing and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the Senior Supply Finance Manager with UK/Nordics Financial Budgets, Forecasts and Capital Expenditure and subsequent input into Group Reporting systems, HFM & PPM
- Contribute to the preparation of product standard costs (annual)
- Run financial modelling for UK/Nordics Supply strategic plan including new strategic initiatives
- Provide ongoing support to the Supply team with ad hoc analysis
- Support the Regional NPD process from a COGS perspective by providing detailed costing
- Support the Senior Supply Finance Manager with the management of the Product Strategy model that supports strategic decision making about product design, product deletion and product returns, including ROCE analysis
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in Finance control/Commercial/Supply finance functions, ideally within FMCG organisations
- Strong analytical, planning and project management skills
- Proven influencing skills
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
Experience Level
- At least 5 years experience
Education Level
- Degree-qualified accountant with CIMA / ACCA / ACA / equivalent
