About the Role
Marsh is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable applications. This hands-on role requires expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular, with an interest in applying AI to software delivery and business outcomes. You will join a collaborative technology team focused on building modern, scalable software solutions aligned with Marsh's digital and AI ambitions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions using modern engineering best practices.
- Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Write clean, maintainable code and robust unit tests in line with coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance and integration challenges.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar software engineering role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
- Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience working in Agile environments and delivering maintainable software solutions.
