About the Role

This role focuses on managing and developing Microsoft partnerships, including driving solutions partner designations, managing large opportunities, and leveraging Microsoft funding programs. It also involves managing the licensing and CSP business, fostering ecosystem development, and translating Microsoft programs into actionable information for internal teams. Additionally, the role includes automating processes and representing the company at Microsoft events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Microsoft partnership status, develop Solutions Partner Designations and specializations, and oversee the entire process from requirements analysis to audits.
  • Control large opportunities procedurally from reporting to billing, ensuring completeness and accuracy in Microsoft Partner Center and CRM.
  • Leverage Microsoft funding programs (e.g., ECIF, Microsoft Commerce Incentives, Solution Assessments) for customer projects, managing Statements of Work, approvals, deadlines, Proof of Execution, and billing.
  • Manage the licensing and CSP business, support sales teams with license consulting, and establish reliable foundations for calculation, customer setup, billing, and incentive utilization.
  • Connect Microsoft sales teams with internal sales teams, expand relationships on both sides, and develop contacts for joint opportunities.
  • Translate Microsoft programs, fiscal year logic, incentive rules, and changing priorities into understandable and actionable information for colleagues.
  • Automate reporting channels, deadline monitoring, status reporting, and standard inquiries using Power Platform, Copilot, and agents.
  • Represent the company at Microsoft formats and events, and support international subsidiaries in accessing the partnership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a partner, alliance, or sales environment within an IT service provider, system house, or software manufacturer.
  • Understanding of the Microsoft business model, including fiscal year, roles, incentive systems in Microsoft sales, and licensing and consumption mechanics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Partner Center and program rules for Designations, ECIF, Microsoft Commerce Incentives, and CSP, or the ability to quickly and accurately learn complex rule sets.
  • Ability to maintain an overview of many parallel processes with binding deadlines and ensure reliable documentation and billing.
  • Confident interaction with sales, management, partner organizations, and international subsidiaries, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient use of AI tools in your field, critical evaluation of results, and support for customers and the company in utilizing AI potential.
