About the Role
Pulse Nursing is seeking experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) with phlebotomy experience to join their team across South East London. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 7:30 pm. The locations are accessible via public transport.
Responsibilities
- Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system.
- Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
- Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate.
Requirements
- A Certificate in Phlebotomy.
- A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood.
- Experience taking patient observations.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
