About the Role

Join a company that operates at the forefront of daily news, producing and shaping up-to-the-minute television news in a cross-media format. We are Germany's leading news channel and are looking for your support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and realization of broadcast workflows.
• Prepare hourly news broadcasts in collaboration with the editor-in-chief.
• Coordinate communication between the editorial team and production technology, including the editor-in-chief, director, and production management.
• Handle the visual content for teasers and tops through self-editing.
• Review finished segments, write lower thirds, and technical information for the rundown.
• Update and manage the content pool.
• Provide support during breaking news and live events.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree, particularly in Politics, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
• Possess a strong interest in television and online media, with a focus on news journalism and current events.
• Demonstrate broad general knowledge.
• Ideally, have prior editorial experience.
• Communicate fluently in German and English.
• Invest time and effort in your work and adhere to agreements.
• Familiarity with standard MS Office programs.
