About the Role
Lead Australian Red Cross operations across the Northern Territory, driving strategy execution and operational performance to deliver meaningful outcomes for communities. Represent the organisation across government, community, corporate, and philanthropic sectors, building strong partnerships and strengthening local engagement.
Responsibilities

- Represent Australian Red Cross across government, community, corporate, and philanthropic sectors.
- Build strong partnerships to enhance reputation, amplify impact, and secure sustainable support.
- Work closely with the NT Divisional Council to strengthen local engagement.
- Deepen connections with members, supporters, and communities across the Territory.
- Contribute to national initiatives or drive dedicated nation-wide portfolio areas.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and compliance frameworks/standards.
Requirements
- Extensive senior leadership experience within a community services or service delivery organisation.
- Inspiring cultural transformation and building high-performing teams.
- Contemporary, inclusive approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience partnering effectively with local communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Well-developed financial management skills and organisational acumen.
- Ability to work under broad direction with a high degree of autonomy and use initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with external stakeholders such as peak bodies, Government (State and Local), partner organisations and corporates.
- Approachable and collaborative leadership style.
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence and negotiate at a senior organisational level.
- Ability to consider external events and trends impacting the organisation and identify opportunities to influence the external environment.
- Demonstrated ability to make data and evidence driven decisions.

- Complete National Police Check.
- Obtain clearance to work with Children (Ochre Card).
