Responsibilities
- Perform verification of returned products for issues such as reproducibility and quality anomalies.
- Identify the root cause of defects to contribute to future improvements.
- Conduct inspections including external photography, non-destructive testing, and data extraction.
- Perform product analysis including destructive testing.
- Share information with overseas manufacturers, including system input, email correspondence, and document comprehension in English.
- Communicate with sales representatives and other internal stakeholders.
- Prepare investigation results and related documentation.
- Conduct visual inspections using digital cameras and microscopes.
- Extract logs and perform measurements (e.g., voltage) using specialized software and equipment.
- Disassemble products to inspect internal parts and circuit boards.
- Handle returned products which may contain dried blood, tissue, or bodily fluids.
- Provide OJT for each product handled.
- Learn basic knowledge of inspection and repair procedures, and equipment structure.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience.
- Experience in quality, manufacturing, inspection, or repair is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- English proficiency (TOEIC 600 or equivalent) for reading and writing.
- Ability to determine the appropriateness of AI translations for technical terms and nuances.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in PC operations (Windows).
- Daily use of SharePoint, MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of Word, Power Automate, or VBA is a plus.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to share information and exchange opinions within the team to ensure consistency in inspection results.
- Ability to understand the situations of other departments and international colleagues with different cultural backgrounds while fulfilling QA responsibilities.
- Comfort with operating microscopes, testing equipment, and disassembling devices.
- Aptitude for detailed work.
- Willingness to learn about handling medical devices, including electronic components and circuits.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (any major).
