About the Role

As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in KPN's digital transformation, working with a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and business translators to deliver tangible impact for customers and the organization. You will leverage data to enable KPN to offer better, more personalized, and efficient customer services, with a strong interest in technology and the latest machine learning developments.

Responsibilities

Discovering new insights and opportunities to innovate existing business processes and ways of working.
Developing and implementing complex models from concept and code to production.
Actively contributing to knowledge sessions, workshops, and meet-ups.
Developing proof-of-concepts and assessing their impact.
Developing new capabilities and solutions to support the business and other analytical teams.
Working according to DevOps principles.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science.
Academic degree in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in initiating, executing, and managing data science projects.
Strong conceptual thinking ability combined with the capacity to translate ideas into practical solutions.
A learning mindset and the ability to acquire new skills and knowledge beyond your own area of expertise.
Extensive experience in developing and operationally managing machine learning models.
Solid knowledge of Python, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Agile and Scrum, or the motivation to adopt the Agile Way of Working.
A strong team player with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of and preferably proficiency in Dutch.

EUR 4634 - EUR 6780 per month
