About the Role
The Total Rewards team supports Texas Mutual employees by providing competitive compensation and benefits programs. This role provides operational support across compensation and benefits, including reporting, annual program administration, compliance activities, employee communications, and process improvement, helping to strengthen the employee experience and internal processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration and daily delivery of compensation and benefits programs.
- Process Workday transactions and maintain accurate compensation and benefits data.
- Support annual Total Rewards programs, including merit planning, incentive administration, salary structure updates, and open enrollment.
- Respond to employee questions and provide guidance about compensation, benefits, wellness, and other Total Rewards programs.
- Develop employee communications, educational materials, program resources, and intranet content.
- Coordinate and support employee benefits and wellness events and programs.
- Support program enhancements and the implementation of new Total Rewards programs.
- Maintain program documentation, supporting records, data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance materials.
- Document and improve processes, workflows, and job aids while identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, consistency, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- At least two years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Experience supporting both compensation and benefits functions.
- Experience using Workday or another human capital management system.
- Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional designation, also known as SHRM-CP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Texas residency required.
