About the Role

As Platform Owner - Finance, you will be responsible for the technology platforms supporting AMP's Group Finance, Treasury, and corporate functions. You will ensure critical finance systems remain secure, resilient, and aligned with business priorities. This role involves leading the optimization and governance of finance applications, balancing operational excellence with strategic improvements, and overseeing production support, platform performance, upgrades, regulatory obligations, and technology risk. You will also identify opportunities to simplify platforms, improve service delivery, reduce costs, and introduce automation across finance processes, influencing platform strategy and business value.

Ensure critical finance systems remain secure, resilient, and aligned to business priorities.
Lead the ongoing optimisation and governance of a diverse portfolio of finance applications.
Balance operational excellence with strategic improvement initiatives.
Oversee production support and platform performance.
Manage upgrades, regulatory obligations, and technology risk.
Enable the finance function to operate efficiently and effectively.
Shape the future of AMP's finance systems landscape.
Lead internal and offshore teams alongside strategic technology partners.
Identify opportunities to simplify platforms, improve service delivery, reduce costs, and introduce automation across finance processes.
Influence platform strategy, operational outcomes, and long-term business value.

Requirements

Experienced Finance Systems leader with a strong background supporting and enhancing enterprise finance platforms within complex organisations.
Significant experience working across Finance and Technology teams.
Strong understanding of financial systems, regulatory environments, and the operational requirements of critical finance functions.
Experience managing finance application portfolios, leading platform upgrades, and delivering technology projects that support Finance and Treasury stakeholders.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Commercial acumen.
Proven capability to lead teams and vendor partners.
Comfortable balancing competing priorities across operational support, project delivery, governance, and risk management.
Maintain a strong focus on service quality and business outcomes.
Adaptable from BAU to ambiguous situations.
Commitment, grit, and a growth mindset.
