About the Role
We are seeking a Reach Stacker Operator to join our Landside Logistics team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and stacking of shipping containers while supporting daily transport and depot operations. You will work closely with drivers, fleet controllers, and the operations team to ensure customer requirements are met safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a reach stacker to load, unload, stack, and relocate shipping containers.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Coordinate with fleet controllers, drivers, and the operations team to ensure efficient container movements.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a reach stacker within a transport, container, or logistics environment.
- Current Reach Stacker Licence or recognised competency (essential).
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience using operational systems (desirable).
