About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our Landside Logistics team. This role is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight across metropolitan and regional routes, ensuring customer service standards and delivery schedules are met. You will collaborate with the operations team to support efficient transport activities while upholding safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HC vehicles in accordance with road transport legislation and company procedures.
- Complete allocated deliveries and collections efficiently while meeting customer timeframes.
- Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Accurately complete transport documentation and electronic records.
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current HC Licence with demonstrated A-Double driving experience.
- Current MSIC Card.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, or container cartage operations.
- Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Heavy Vehicle National Law requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage delivery schedules.
