About the Role
The Construction Economics team researches and analyzes economic and construction market data to assess the likely trajectory of construction costs for clients and their projects. This role supports the team with research, analysis, and development of outputs for clients and the internal business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on global and local economic data.
- Source key statistics and keep the team’s databases up to date.
- Track major construction projects across the country.
- Prepare charts and graphs using key data.
- Assist with writing commentary for client reports and internal documents.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement is commencement of a Degree in Construction, Property Economics or other relevant degree qualification.
- Comfortable working with Excel and large datasets with a strong attention to detail.
- Eager to ask questions, understand the “why” behind trends, and dig deeper into the drivers of change.
- Able to gather, interpret, and synthesize information from a variety of sources to support robust analysis.
- Ready to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to team discussions with insight and initiative.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
