We are seeking an Experience Design Strategist to lead the design of experience strategies and integrated processes for Healthcare Consumers (HCC), driving HCC experience projects for specific diseases and products with a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop experience strategies aligned with disease/product strategies and overall HCC value, leading cross-departmental project promotion, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Establish and manage processes and governance for providing comprehensive and integrated HCC value across the organization.
  • Analyze patient/life science and healthcare professional treatment/prescription processes to identify core issues and value, translating them into user-centric strategies, measures, and roadmaps.
  • Design and conduct design/user research with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal/external stakeholders, integrating qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights.
  • Identify unmet needs, barriers, and opportunities through interviews, observations, workshops, and behavioral data analysis, converting them into initiative hypotheses.
  • Lead the creation of patient journeys, customer journeys, and ideal experience visions based on the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Design user experiences aligned with digital/data/AI utilization strategies, establishing and operating user-centric KPIs to drive results and continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate with omnichannel, IT, and data teams to execute measurement design, A/B testing, and behavioral analysis for data-driven UX validation and improvement.
  • Execute strategy-based UX design, information architecture, UI design, and prototyping in collaboration with other departments.
  • Validate hypotheses through user testing, usability evaluations, and behavioral analysis, continuously improving experience quality and engagement.
  • Drive business process design and IT implementation (requirements definition to functional design, development, testing) from a UX perspective, supporting operational handover.
  • Standardize design methods and tools for HCC experience design, creating user-friendly manuals and environments for internal and external users, and supporting their adoption.
  • Disseminate achievements and learnings from practical applications within the organization, supporting the establishment of a culture and capability for continuous evolution of experience design, design research, UX/UI, and digital utilization.

Requirements

  • Experience introducing and establishing experience design within an organization, or strategically applying experience design to projects and operations.
  • Experience coordinating and persuading complex stakeholders (business units, digital, IT, public relations, external partners) to drive business.
  • Experience in strategic planning utilizing digital/data/AI, roadmap development for realization, and customer (user) experience design and operation.
  • Experience and skills in experience design strategy and design (creating personas, patient/healthcare professional journeys, experience maps, service blueprints, etc.).
  • Practical experience in business process and governance design.
  • Understanding of digital marketing tactical design to operation and MarTech (CMS/MA/SFA/Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Facilitation skills using collaboration and whiteboard tools such as Mural and FigJam.
