About the Role
HVAC Lead Install Technician is responsible for providing high-quality heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning installation services to commercial construction customers. This role requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while representing the company on-site.
Responsibilities
- Installation of refrigerant piping, ductwork, condensate drainage systems, controls, and related HVAC components.
- Brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging refrigerant systems, and commissioning equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, including split systems, VRF/VRV systems, water-source heat pumps, PTAC units, rooftop units, fan coil units, and ventilation systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings clearly.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while working independently in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC service and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Experience with AAON, Mitsubishi, Daikin, and LG systems preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid, clean driver’s license required.
- EPA Certification preferred.
