About the Role
The Room Service Ambassador instructs patients on the Room Service meal ordering system, assesses their ability to utilize it, and assists with placing orders. This role involves reviewing diet basics related to personalized menus and communicating with call center representatives.
Responsibilities
- Presents SFHS Room Service Program to patients.
- Delivers and retrieves room service trays.
- Completes appropriate Room Service reports.
- Conducts patient intake studies as necessary.
- Resolves issues that may affect the delivery of patient meals.
- Acts as a liaison between patient and other departments as it relates to room service.
Requirements
- Must have previous hospitality experience or prior experience in a hospital diet office setting.
- Must possess reasoning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Have strong oral and written skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Valid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit.
