About the Role

Design and develop AI-powered features end-to-end, from concept to production implementation within internal processes. Integrate LLMs and RAG systems into tools and processes, and develop backend services for reliable AI functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered features end-to-end, from concept to production implementation within internal processes.
• Work with LLMs and RAG systems integrated into our tools and processes.
• Develop backend services (e.g., in Python, Node, or Java) that reliably provide AI functionality.
• Analyze internal processes, identify automation potential, and implement it independently.
• Develop assistance and automation functions for development, product management, QA, and operations.
• Work prototypically on future AI functions for our software solutions (e.g., document processing, process support).
• Ensure all AI functions are clearly documented, testable, and GDPR-compliant.
• Utilize modern tools such as GitLab, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree in IT, Data Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Very good programming skills in at least one language (preferably Python, alternatively Java or TypeScript/Node).
• Productivity in AI technologies (MCPs, LLMs, RAG, vector databases) or high motivation to develop in this area.
• Good knowledge in software development, including APIs, automated tests, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge in cloud computing (e.g., Azure, AWS, or comparable platforms).
• Understanding of data protection and the secure and responsible use of AI, ideally in highly regulated markets.
• High quality standards, initiative, and team spirit.
• Good German and English skills (B2).
• Experience with Azure OpenAI or comparable models is desirable.
• Experience in process analysis or workflow automation is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of the healthcare sector is desirable.
• Experience in stakeholder management at various hierarchical levels is desirable.
