About the Role

We are building a culture of collaboration and seeking an imaginative, skillful, and versatile Senior Technical Animator with a focus on game scripting and cinematic scenes implementation to join our team. If you share a passion for developing groundbreaking worlds and player experiences, then this may be the position you’ve been waiting for!

Responsibilities

  • Work with established game engine and animation systems within digital creation tools.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Designers, Animators and Technical Animators cultivating a positive team dynamic.
  • Work quickly and effectively to support content creators.
  • Technical design and narrative scene support, and animation prop rig creation.

Requirements

  • Experience in game scripting, technical design, animation roles or technical art.
  • Professional or personal experience working with real time game engines.
  • Proficiency in building skeletons, skinning and rigging in Maya.
  • Good understanding of proprietary engine and related tools.
  • Strong artistic skills and working knowledge of 3D art production.
  • Working understanding of Python tool and pipeline development.
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the development team.
  • Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Must be flexible and comfortable with prototyping and quick iteration.
  • An adaptable and continuous learning attitude.
