About the Role

As a Casual In-Store Fulfilment (ISF) Sales Assistant, you’ll be part of the behind-the-scenes action that keeps JD’s online orders moving. You’ll be picking products, checking details, packing orders, and preparing them for dispatch. This role is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring a good eye for detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage order flow efficiently. The role requires a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with shifts starting from 6:00 am or 7:00 am, and full-day availability is highly regarded. Due to early start times, applicants should have completed secondary schooling.

Responsibilities

Pick online orders quickly and accurately
Check every product before it leaves the building
Pack orders and get them courier-ready
Keep stock and inventory systems accurate
Spot stock discrepancies and flag issues
Help receive and organise incoming stock
Keep the fulfilment area clean, organised, and safe
Assist the wider store team during busy periods
Represent JD with energy, attitude, and product knowledge

Requirements

Customer service experience within retail, hospitality, or a similar industry
Ability to provide excellent service and go above and beyond
Passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands
Positive can-do attitude and ability to work as a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Enthusiasm to overcome challenges and learn new skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Available to work morning shifts commencing at 6:00 am or 7:00 am
Full-day availability is highly regarded
Completed secondary schooling
