About the Role
Drive the design, implementation, and operation of corporate networks, including IT Infrastructure DevOps, Security, and SRE teams. Oversee the reliability, scalability, sustainability, and efficiency of SoFi’s network infrastructure and lead the evolution of next-generation corporate networks.
Responsibilities
- Directly accountable for managing the software, hardware, and overall health of SoFi’s network.
- Develop the multi-year networking architecture, strategy, and roadmap to support evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement standards, such as MDF layouts and rack elevations, across all of SoFi.
- Define scope, objectives, key results, and execution plans for technical projects aligned with business objectives.
- Foster a healthy and collaborative culture that embodies SoFi’s values.
Requirements
- BS degree in a technical or engineering discipline or relevant years of experience.
- 12+ years of experience in network engineering, software, and distributed systems.
- 6+ years managing high-performance teams at scale.
- Technical experience in scaling a multi-vendor networking environment.
- Strong technical craft mastery and engineering discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent and explain complex business or technical concepts.
- Technical aptitude to translate business needs into network engineering opportunities.
