About the Role

As a Casual In-Store Fulfilment (ISF) Sales Assistant, you’ll be part of the behind-the-scenes action that keeps JD’s online orders moving. You’ll be on the floor picking products, checking details, packing orders and getting them ready to hit the road. This role is fast-paced, hands-on and requires a good eye for detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to keep things moving when orders increase. Shifts start from 6:00 am or 7:00 am, and full-day availability is highly regarded. This role is best suited to applicants who have completed secondary schooling.

Responsibilities

Pick online orders quickly and accurately
Check every product before it leaves the building
Pack orders and get them courier-ready
Keep stock and inventory systems accurate
Spot stock discrepancies and flag anything that doesn't look right
Help receive and organise incoming stock
Keep your fulfilment area clean, organised and safe
Jump in with the wider store team when things get busy
Represent JD with the energy, attitude and product knowledge our customers expect

Requirements

Customer service experience within retail, hospitality or like industry
Ability to provide excellent service and go above & beyond
A positive can-do attitude and ability to work as a team
Thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Enthusiastic to overcome challenges and learn new skills
Strong communication skills, someone who thrives through engagement with customers and team work
Ability to multi-task
Available to work morning shifts commencing at 6:00 am or 7:00 am
Full-day availability is highly regarded
Completed secondary schooling
