About the Role

This role provides general team support to a large group within GCIB Credit, assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the department. Every day will be different, and you will work closely with another experienced admin assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and follow up on admin support requests via the team shared mailbox.
  • Handle travel bookings and expense submissions.
  • Process technology and application access requests using internal request systems.
  • Manage general office administration such as stationery and facilities requests.
  • Assist with planning and running internal events.
  • Update spreadsheets and presentations, and create PDF documents.
  • Provide light-touch calendar management for some members of the management team and/or assist with setting up large or complex meetings.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively identify ways to add value.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects.
  • Provide holiday cover for other admin staff.

Requirements

  • Self-aware team player with intellectual curiosity.
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment, ideally a large corporate.
  • Comfortable with technology and ready to learn new systems and applications.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with executives, colleagues, and support partners.
  • Ability to handle confidential material.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Accurate typing (approx. 40 wpm).
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
