About the Role

Development and implementation of a long-term procurement strategy for the Project Systems Business (PSB) as well as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services to ensure the company's competitiveness. Responsibility for procurement support of development and customer projects, from the tender/request phase through to series production start-up.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of a long-term procurement strategy for the Project Systems Business (PSB) as well as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services to ensure the company's competitiveness.
Responsibility for procurement support of development and customer projects, from the tender/request phase through to series production start-up.
Close collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Quality Management, and Production to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Negotiation and execution of framework agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and continuously optimizing contract terms and conditions.
Ongoing monitoring of the Sustainable Solutions market, identification of trends and developments, and evaluation of new technologies and suppliers.
Conducting cost analyses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to optimize project costs.
Establishing and maintaining long-term supplier relationships, as well as conducting supplier evaluations and driving supplier development initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Several years of professional experience in Strategic Sourcing or Project Procurement, ideally within a project systems business environment.
Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a high level of cost awareness.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to understand complex issues and make well-founded decisions.
Several years of experience, ideally in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business, or within the Rail, Marine, or Government sectors, would be an advantage.
Independent, structured, and self-reliant working style combined with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
Willingness to undertake national and international business travel.
