Responsibilities

Conduct teaching and examination duties in accordance with applicable examination and study regulations.
Creatively design and develop instructional materials to enhance student learning and engagement.
Revise, design, and develop new curricula for assigned modules, ensuring alignment with academic standards and learning outcomes.
Develop and set examinations or other assessment instruments, providing them at least two weeks prior to the conclusion of the semester.
Grade written examinations and other assessment results within stipulated deadlines and submit evaluated materials promptly.
Organize and facilitate the inspection of written examinations or other assessed performances.
Actively participate in teaching evaluations by completing and submitting evaluation sheets.
Supervise student dissertations, providing guidance and feedback, and assess and grade them in accordance with academic standards.

Requirements

PhD or PhD Candidate with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in at least one of the specified domains (Machine Learning & Deep Learning, Data Science & Visualisation, Mechatronics & Electronic Systems, Robotics & Control Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Tech, Systems & Infrastructure).
Prior teaching experience in higher education at University level.
Very good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Teams.
Scientific publications in a related discipline.
Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level).
Knowledge of German (for Germany) is desirable.
Knowledge of Educational Platforms (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).
Working knowledge of timetabling software.
Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules.
Very good organizational and communication skills.
High social competence and assertiveness.
Ability to maintain an overview even with high workloads.
Entrepreneurial and economic way of thinking and working.
Resilient and flexible.
Motivated for further academic and professional development.
