About the Role

Early Media is seeking a Scripted Producer to manage individual series from pre-production to delivery. This role involves building the infrastructure and standards for the scripted department, offering a unique opportunity to shape a production department from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned series from kickoff through delivery, including timelines, budgets, crew, and day-to-day logistics with minimal oversight.
• Oversee pre-production activities such as breakdowns, scheduling, budgeting, location scouting, and crew/vendor coordination.
• Manage relationships between the creative team and Production leadership.
• Develop department infrastructure, including workflows, templates, and scalable systems.
• Cultivate talent relationships with writers, directors, and crew members.
• Provide a creative perspective on projects.

Requirements

• A builder mentality, energized by creating infrastructure.
• 4-7 years of producing experience in scripted television, film, or high-volume digital/streaming content.
• Proven track record of independently taking scripted projects from development through delivery across multiple formats or lengths.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and creating structure.
• Experience managing junior production staff, including coordinators and assistants.
• Experience producing multiple simultaneous projects.
