About the Role

This year-round position supports both Curling and Golf Operations, ensuring the Curling Rink is maintained to high standards and playing a key administrative role in supporting curling operations, bonspiels, and seasonal programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and removal of curling and skating ice surfaces.
• Maintain excellent playing conditions through daily scraping, pebbling, and cleaning.
• Monitor and log refrigeration systems and humidity levels in compliance with TSSA.
• Support league, bonspiel, and junior program operations.
• Promote events through social media and ensure up-to-date website content.
• Manage member registrations, records, and curling-related software and databases.
• Assist with the setup of the curling lounge and support member events.
• Participate in Golf Operations during the summer season.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ice maintenance with a history of quality results.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Able to perform medium-heavy physical work and work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidates 18 years or older may be required to complete a criminal background check.

Skills

• Level 2 Ice Technician certification preferred; Level 1 will be considered.
• Curling administration experience is an asset.
