About the Role

Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and highly organised Virtual Assistant to provide essential administrative support to our dedicated care team. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, allowing our clinical staff to focus on what they do best: sharing life’s journey with patients and providing exceptional end-of-life care. Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate virtual meetings for the care team.
  • Handle email and phone correspondence with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
  • Prepare, format, and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain confidential records and manage data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Provide general administrative support, including organising digital files and resources.
  • Assist in coordinating team projects and tracking progress on key initiatives.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for internal team members, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar remote support role.
  • Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other standard office software.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful work ethic.
  • Experience in a healthcare, hospice, or non-profit environment is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature that aligns with our core values.
