About the Role
This role is focused on transforming how an entire organization thinks about the people it serves. The Product Manager will own the client roadmap, influence how clinical teams, operations, partnerships, and leadership understand and prioritize the client experience, and ensure the client perspective informs decisions at every level of the organization. The role involves translating discovery and data into a clear point of view that shapes clinical, operational, and strategic priorities. The Product Manager will own everything that shapes how a client engages with Headlight, including onboarding, the Care Hub, self-service tools, AI-assisted care features, and CRM integrations. This role is for individuals motivated by the idea that thoughtful product decisions can change someone's relationship with their own mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Own the full client journey - from initial encounter through intake, onboarding, active care, and all touchpoints in between, ensuring intentional, warm, and engaging experiences.
- Position the Headlight client portal as an engagement platform providing meaningful, personalized connections to care at every phase.
- Drive discovery by talking to clients, understanding drop-off points, diagnosing engagement breakdowns, and translating insights into prioritized product decisions.
- Apply rigorous build vs. buy judgment on initiatives, evaluating third-party tools for acceleration, constraint, or differentiation.
- Own the partner experience, including referral flows, partner sign-up, and feedback loops for seamless external partnerships.
- Measure success across the full journey, including conversion through intake, time to first session, session attendance, engagement between appointments, retention, and clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with a strong UX and discovery orientation.
- Experience building consumer-facing digital products, ideally in a high-stakes or regulated domain.
- Comfort prototyping and concepting interfaces using AI design tools.
- AI literacy applied to product decisions, including evaluating tools and identifying AI value for users.
- A bias toward discovery, talking to users before writing specs and building this practice into the team.
- Ability to measure key outcomes such as adherence, retention, session attendance, and evidence of progress.
- Genuine passion for the mission and the client problem is non-negotiable.
