About the Role

As an early Engineering Manager at Unify GTM, you’ll shape the DNA of an early-stage, high-velocity engineering organization building with leading-edge AI. You’ll lead a core product pod, owning delivery, quality, and team health, and partner with product and design to bring bold ideas to life. This role also involves setting the foundation for scaling our culture, systems, and standards of technical and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead a core product team, managing, coaching, and growing high-performing engineers while staying connected to technical work.
Own delivery by collaborating with product and design leads to scope and ship customer-centered, fast, and reliable product initiatives.
Continuously improve engineering processes, including planning, observability, and CI/CD, to support rapid iteration and scale.
Participate in code reviews, design conversations, and incident response to maintain technical involvement.
Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent to support organizational growth.
Foster a team environment grounded in ownership, speed, and empathy.

Requirements

8+ years of engineering experience.
3+ years of engineering management experience in fast-moving environments.
Experience building and leading teams at early-stage startups.
Proven ability to ship high-quality software under tight feedback loops.
Strong technical leadership skills.
Comfort in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments.
Experience with recruiting, coding, running retros, debugging production issues, or adjusting roadmaps.
Commitment to developing team members technically and as teammates.
Ability to move fast, stay scrappy, and prioritize impact.
