About the Role

The Senior Functional Analyst will ensure the security and compliance of Oracle Fusion applications and infrastructure. This role involves technical implementation and maintenance of security policies, managing risks, and ensuring Oracle Cloud environments adhere to regulatory requirements. The analyst will also participate in financial transformation projects, configure security controls and profiles for Oracle Cloud applications, and collaborate with partners to ensure governance, monitoring, and security compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the guardian of the Finance Oracle Cloud tenancies and applications.
  • Supports security issues for finance users, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Provides guidance and solutions on Oracle Fusion security profiles, IAM architecture, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborates with internal Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC) and other cloud security teams to ensure proper configurations and maintenance of SSO, MFA, SailPoint and SCIM integrated applications, as well as Cloud Guard, SIEM integration and other cybersecurity tools.
  • Ensures secure, least-privilege access across cloud environments to reduce risk and support compliance.
  • Researches, prototypes, and tests new and/or enhanced functionalities.
  • Stays updated with Oracle updates and maintains proper documentation to reflect current solution design specifications.
  • Discovers and proposes new ideas or designs and develops concepts to improve Oracle Cloud tools strategically.
  • Understands business and systems processes, and masters different data flows.
  • Collaborates with internal and external auditors on processes and controls carried out on the applications as an administrator.

Requirements

  • University degree or certification in business, accounting, finance, information technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience (e.g., Oracle Certifications) of Oracle Cloud applications ERP & EPM and OCI.
  • Skills to communicate and present with the ability to interact with both technical and Finance stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance and/or information technology.
  • Experience with IAM and cybersecurity and Finance business concepts.
  • Analytical mind and pragmatic approach to issues and problems.
  • Need for self-training and commitment to training and maintaining technical & business competencies.
  • Positive attitude and great team spirit.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary/Compensations

  • 94,200 - 115,200
  • Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 12%
