About the Role
The Partner Recruiting and Integration Assistant provides day-to-day operational and coordination support to the Director and Senior Manager of Partner Recruiting and Integration. This role spans all phases of lateral partner recruiting and integration, ensuring a seamless candidate and new-partner experience.
Responsibilities
- Research and compile candidate profiles, practice group intelligence, and market data to support candidate evaluation and identify recruiting opportunities.
- Cultivate familiarity with premier dining and meeting venues and make informed recommendations for candidate interactions.
- Coordinate interview schedules, collect interviewer evaluations, and greet and escort candidates.
- Support lateral partner recruiting for New York and Washington, DC offices, and other locations as assigned, ensuring timely communication with candidates, recruiting agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain effective coordination with leadership and stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
- Coordinate the due diligence process for lateral partner candidates, including background, conflicts, and reference checks.
- Maintain candidate files, recruitment databases, and applicant tracking systems with precision.
- Support the development and maintenance of recruiting dashboards, reporting metrics, and data-driven insights.
- Support the development, implementation, and refinement of integration programs, resources, and processes for new partners.
- Manage timelines of key integration events and milestones, coordinating meetings and preparing materials.
- Help plan and facilitate introductions between lateral partners, firm leadership, other attorneys, and business services professionals.
- Coordinate travel and logistical arrangements for integration-related meetings and events.
- Help create and maintain internal databases, resources, and toolkits to facilitate partner integration.
- Disseminate information regarding new partner hires to appropriate firm personnel.
- Monitor and process invoices, expense reimbursements, and search firm fee agreements.
- Foster effective work practices, teamwork, and respect for colleagues while serving as a brand ambassador for the Partner Recruiting and Integration team.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of professional experience in a coordination-intensive, people-facing role.
- Backgrounds in executing recruiting, marketing, hospitality, event management, client services, executive support, or similar environments are highly valued.
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Ability to quickly learn firm-specific systems, policies, and culture.
