About the Role
As a Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, while supporting fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion, you may work with other companies' products in the stores you service.
Responsibilities
- Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device.
- Utilize technology for daily work, communication with supervisors, time reporting, feedback, and surveys.
- Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
- Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Provide support during peak holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) with potential for extended hours and working on holidays/weekends.
- Participate in department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections, typically with two weeks' advance notice.
- Support other team members in their territories as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Employment is contingent upon signing the Employment Agreement, an agreement to arbitrate, completing Form I-9, and passing a pre-employment background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is generally not provided.
