About the Role
We are actively seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Bartender with an outgoing personality to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, and be a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Mix and serve drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide attentive service.
- Manage bar operations efficiently, including restocking and organizing bar supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and setting up and closing down the bar area.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and assist in managing bar stock to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Adhere to all local regulations regarding the serving of alcohol, including verifying the age of customers, refusing service to intoxicated individuals, and following health and safety guidelines.
- Assist in preparing and serving drinks for special events, private parties, and functions.
- Work closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation.
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is required.
- Standing for long periods, frequent bending, and lifting heavy items.
- Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The work environment can be noisy and fast-paced, especially during peak hours.
- Submit resume, cover letter, head and shoulders picture and cocktail pictures.
Skills
- Proficient in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and proper serving techniques.
- Understanding of local laws regarding alcohol service.
