About the Role
Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans. Monitor and identify credit risks in managed loans. Attain Bank, region, and branch goals through active participation in underwriting and closing desirable credits. Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations. Interface with clients to assess credit needs and determine optimal loan structures.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze necessary information to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
- Coordinate processing of approved loans, ensuring adherence to agreements, customer needs, and Bank lending policies.
- Assist in solving problems related to processing and servicing of loans within the Relationship Manager's portfolio.
- Reinforce superior customer service through example and follow-through.
- Handle various underwriting, portfolio management, and upkeep tasks for new loan requests and existing portfolios.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring, and pricing dynamics.
- Credit analyst training completed.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
