About the Role
The Warehouse Clerk will provide administrative and customer support within the branch, handling phone calls, emails, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide phone support for inbound calls and field calls as necessary.
- Communicate via email.
- Ensure completion of all necessary documentation and process as needed.
- Maintain proper flow of the yard.
- Schedule appointments as necessary.
- Schedule and administer work assignments.
- Function as point of contact for respective department.
- Print labels.
- Create problem tickets.
- Create load sheets and/or ASNs.
- Meet company expectations for accuracy, performance, and attendance.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Proficient to read, write, and speak in English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to answer phones and respond rapidly to emails.
- Ability to work independently and in a diverse work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to move product, supplies, and boxes up to and over 75 lbs. repetitively.
- Ability to perform sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, talking, hearing, and possess visual acuity-near and far, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
