About the Role
AIM is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to work as an independent contractor. We offer the flexibility of private practice with the support of a technology-driven company that reimagines special education services.
Responsibilities
- Provide school-based occupational therapy services consistent with each district's service delivery model
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation of all services provided
- Provide clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as engaged
- Develop and deliver in-service and training sessions for staff and families
- Support OT students and affiliates as opportunities arise
- Ensure documentation meets Federal, State, and local funding and compliance requirements
- Support students with physical disabilities, including lifting, transferring, and positioning
Requirements
- Active Texas OT license, maintained in good standing throughout engagement
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Travel to multiple campus locations within your service area
- Physical demands include standing, stooping, bending, reaching, heavy lifting, and moderate carrying
- Engagement contingent on a background check clearing you to work in public school settings
