About the Role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides quality rehabilitative services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA works with patients experiencing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary deficiencies, promoting excellent customer service while adhering to state and federal standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate's degree in science or applied science approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
- Current and unencundenred certification or license to practice physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of employment.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation.
- Access to reliable transportation.
