About the Role

As a working student, you will support our team in the further development of a test framework for system testing in railway technology, contributing to the efficiency of automated test processes. You will work closely with users and apply your programming skills to development and analysis tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance test drivers and test components in Java to continuously improve our test framework.
• Independently document new functionalities and present their application possibilities clearly to users.
• Set up test systems, configure them according to requirements, and ensure smooth operation.
• Analyze error patterns with users and support the identification and resolution of problems within the test framework.
• Accompany the execution of automated tests and help ensure the high quality and reliability of the test environment.
• Contribute new ideas for optimizing development, configuration, and test processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• Proficient in Java and able to apply these skills in development projects.
• Ability to independently learn new topics and take responsibility for tasks.
• Enjoy teamwork and value exchange with various stakeholders.
• Ideally, possess initial experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge in Continuous Integration, for example with Jenkins, is a plus.
