About the Role

AIM is seeking an experienced School Psychologist/LSSP for a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. We offer true flexibility, innovative tools, and steady referral volume to clinicians who want the freedom of independent practice with the backing of a forward-thinking partner.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (ages 0–18) referred for special education evaluation
  • Contribute evaluation findings to the development of IEPs
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies on intervention strategies
  • Attend ARD committee meetings to support appropriate placement decisions
  • Produce accurate, timely evaluation reports meeting district and state requirements
  • Track and submit billable hours through QuickBooks

Requirements

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active Texas LSSP licensure
  • Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment of children and adolescents (0–18)
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Some travel to campus sites within your service area
  • Light lifting and transport of test materials
  • Background check clearing you to work in public school settings

Skills

  • Skilled with standardized test instruments, diagnostic software, and special education management platforms
  • Strong, defensible report writing
  • Reliable, professional communication
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
